Advanced and expert skiing in Whistler – Blackcomb.
With such a vast ski area covering the twin mountains of Whistler and Blackcomb, it is inevitable that there will be some great and challenging ski terrain. And whilst Whistler – Blackcomb is famous for it off-piste ski terrain, there are also ski routes that can be lift accessed and connect to the ski pistes. Steep shoots and gullies are a feature of Whistler – Blackcomb. One iconic area of extreme skiing is the waterfall at the base of the Peak Chair on Whistler. Here, for the entertainment of those queuing for the chair, skiers and boarders throw themselves off a series of worryingly high frozen waterfalls in to accumulated powder below.
